Laundry Day

We slept in late today with our goal to take it easy as we save our feet for the Camino. We did visit several churches and a Museo and generally took it easy. We walked down by the river and it was a pretty park along the bank. We found the ‘old wall’ which surrounded the city going back to Roman times. It was expanded over many centuries but the core area was pretty much the same. We got back early and worked through the rest of our Camino days - 15 in total. It will be about 162 miles total to get to Santiago. A couple of the stages will be long and tough so we may need to adjust our plans but overall we feel pretty good. We plan on doing a final laundry load tomorrow afternoon and we really don’t know when we might get another chance over the last 15 days. Many of the villages have 100 people or less and we don’t see any laundries in any of the villages. Hopefully one of the places we stay might have a washer we could use but will just have to cross our fingers. Tomorrow we get all packed again before we head out on Friday the 20th.
