A Long Day On The Camino.

The day started well in Estella with a good breakfast and an early start at 8:15.  The first part of the walk had some nice shade and beautiful countryside.  We travelled thru some quaint villages and walked next some beautiful fields of wheat,  mustard and grasses blowing in the wind.  Ahead of us were mountains with steep rock cliffs, ancient ruins and vineyards.

We started the day at Fuente de Vino which has a wine fountain.  Dianne put some small amount of wine into our contigo which we sampled as we walked.   A great way to start the day.

The last 8 miles were long, exposed and boring.  Overall a great day. On to Viana tomorrow
